Customer Support Operator – Lurgan – £12 to £13 per hour (depending on shift)

Due to continued success and expansion our highly regarded Security client based in Lurgan have a requirement for a number of Customer Support Operators to join their team on a full time, permanent basis!

As a Customer Support Operator you will manage incoming and outgoing telephone calls to both clients and branches whilst utilising software to ensure the required monitoring and compliance standards are met.

There are 2 shift patterns available:

1) 42hrs per week, 4 days on 4 days off working rotation shift patterns (6am-6pm, 10am-10pm or 6pm-6am)

2) 42 hours per week 2 days 2 nights 4 days off (6am-6pm then 6pm-6am)

Key Responsibilities:

– Monitor security systems, including CCTV cameras, access control systems, and alarms, to identify and respond to security incidents in real-time.

– Dispatch security personnel or emergency services as necessary to address security breaches or threats.

– Maintain accurate records of security incidents, actions taken, and key operational activities.

– Conduct regular checks of security equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any issues for prompt resolution.

– Collaborate with onsite security personnel, management, and external stakeholders to effectively manage security operations.

– Follow established protocols and procedures to maintain a high level of security at all times.

– Provide clear and concise communication during security incidents to ensure a coordinated response.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

– Good IT skills

– Strong communication skills with the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.

– Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

– Flexibility to work in shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Desirable Criteria

– Previous experience in a security control room or similar environment is preferred but not required as full training will be provided.

– Proficient in operating security systems, CCTV cameras, and other monitoring equipment.

– Knowledge of security protocols, emergency response procedures, and relevant regulations.
