Job Description

Role Description:
Design and implement advanced electrical architectures, power distribution systems, and control hardware for vessel sub-systems, including thermal systems, steering, flight control, propulsion, and energy storage. Collaborate closely with various technical departments to ensure seamless integration of these systems, contributing to the development of groundbreaking zero-emission foiling vessel technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop electrical distribution systems, HV/LV harnesses, control panels, and cabling
  • Create Electrical Architectures, Schematics, Wiring Harness Drawings, BOMs, and System Overviews
  • Participate in design reviews and advise on best practices
  • Ensure collaboration between engineering teams and departments
  • Consult with manufacturers and distributors
  • Support creation of manufacturing drawings and instructions
  • Assist with end-of-line testing and aftersales support
  • Develop grounding, lightning protection, and galvanic protection systems
  • Specify cables considering voltage drop, insulation, and shielding

Requirements

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • 3+ years in Electrical Engineering or similar role
  • Equivalent experience considered

Skills:.

  • Knowledge of Electric, Hydrogen, and Hybrid Drivelines
  • Proficiency in Electrical CAD packages (Zuken E3, EPlan, or similar)
  • Experience with AutoCAD (2D)
  • Skilled in fault-finding, creating Wiring Schematics, and EMC design
