Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing project budgets, bills of quantities, and cost estimates.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and cost-benefit analysis to determine project viability.
  • Monitoring project costs and progress to ensure adherence to budgets and timelines.
  • Managing and negotiating contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Conducting risk assessments and advising on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Preparing detailed reports on project costs and progress for senior management.
  • Leading and mentoring junior quantity surveyors and support staff.
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver successful projects.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and cost management software.
  • Membership in a professional body such as RICS or SCSI is desirable.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
