Restructuring Accountant – Dungannon

About the Company:

Our client is a leading accountancy practice based in Dungannon, Co. Tyrone, renowned for their expertise and client-centric approach. They provide a wide range of financial services to businesses and individuals, specialising in innovative and strategic solutions to financial challenges.

With supervision from senior staff, the successful candidate will carry out mix of restructuring advisory and formal insolvency work. Advisory work may include, advising individuals and businesses in financial distress in respect of the options available to them, assisting a Bankrupt to annul their Bankruptcy, or assisting an individual or business to enter a formal insolvency process. Formal insolvency work will include supporting the management of a portfolio of cases comprising of Bankruptcy estates, Individual & Company Voluntary Arrangements, Liquidations and Administrations

With supervision from Directors, case managers and other senior staff, the successful candidate will carry out mix of pre and post appointment formal insolvency work. They will support the management of a portfolio of cases in respect of Bankruptcy estates, Individual & Company Voluntary Arrangements, Liquidations and Administrations.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients and referrers through delivery of a high-quality service, effective case progression and regular communication to all stakeholders.
  • Case Management to include data processing, reviewing financial information and producing reports.
  • Liaising with solicitors and creditors where required to progress and manage cases
  • Facilitating regular, effective client/stakeholder meetings, with an ability to always demonstrate empathy & professionalism.
  • Procedural matters such as filing, reporting, document preparation and statutory compliance.
  • Proactively identifying and addressing risks or issues, and subsequently addressing these through an agreed action plan
  • Actively identify and propose business development opportunities for the team to explore.
  • Engage in day-to-day communication with creditors, charge holders and banks, insolvency practitioners, instructing agents and solicitors.

Pay: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor’s (preferred)



  • Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1 year PQ experience, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in a similar fast paced environment, dealing with a range of stakeholders, desirable but not essential
  • Experience of management of portfolio of cases, desirable but not essential
  • Experience in the use of MS Office
  • Excellent Communication and presentation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
