Silverwood Recruitment Ltd are working with one of the UK & Ireland’s Leading Facilities Management Companies, assisting in the recruitment of an experienced Sales Manager.

This Sales Manager role will be based in Newry and will offer an opportunity to work as part of a local team with a global reach, and the Sales Manager should have the drive, determination and desire to work with Global Blue Chip brands in rapidly evolving industries.

This is a new role within the business due to significant Global expansion, this is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Manager to join a longstanding company offering an excellent working environment.

The Responsibilities of the Sales Manager will include but not be limited to:

  • Day to day management of the Northern Ireland, ROI & UK business.
  • Developing strategy and driving all aspects of operational delivery.
  • Management of key strategic partnerships – suppliers and customers.
  • Responsibility for people and performance management.
  • Improving business processes and overall effectiveness.
  • Pro-actively work with other colleagues in the sales, finance, and HR Management functions across the business to manage, avoid and resolve key issues.
  • Implement key initiatives to drive efficiency, quality and profitability.
  • Ensure timely completion of all verifications and reporting in compliance with the outlined processes.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of sales performance metrics and KPIs aligned with business and strategic objectives.
  • Ensure governance and accuracy of the data within CP system.
  • Review and maintain sales dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate performance to senior management.
  • Monitor and evaluate individual and team performance against targets, providing analysis and insights.
  • Work closely with the sales team to gather input for accurate sales forecasting.
  • Provide insights and recommendations to drive sales strategy and resource allocation.
  • Responsible for other adhoc admin activities related to sales growth as directed

Requirements

  • 3 years+ experience in similar role
  • Preferred background – Facilities Management, Construction or Service Sector
  • Someone who thrives in management with a proven track record in developing strategy, overseeing business improvement, and understanding operational effectiveness
  • Results driven
  • Effective people management – staff, suppliers, and customers
  • Problem solving and project management
  • Financially experienced – budgets and delivery
  • Written and verbal communication skills to drive internal and external relationships
  • Excellent understanding of sales processes and a track record of process optimisation.

  • Exceptional planning and organising skills
  • Sales team reporting, planning and KPI achievements are essential for this role
