Job Description:

As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of construction projects from initial estimate through to project completion. Your role will be crucial in ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and managing project budgets, cost plans, and estimates.
  • Conducting feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and risk assessments.
  • Preparing bills of quantities, tender documents, and contract documentation.
  • Monitoring project costs, tracking variations, and managing changes.
  • Negotiating and managing contracts with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Conducting site visits and valuations, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Preparing detailed progress reports for senior management.
  • Advising on procurement strategies and value engineering.
  • Collaborating with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.

Pay: €40,000.00-€65,000.00 per year

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in quantity surveying or a related role.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications such as Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and cost management software.
  • Membership in a professional body such as RICS or SCSI is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A keen eye for detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
